I was recently one of 5 artists invited to spruce up Wellington’s Egmont St with fresh murals on garage doors.

For my piece I took inspiration from an old tale of an abandoned deceased horse, sadly left in the street unclaimed and upsetting local residents. I felt the horse deserved more respect than that, so created this ode to said horse, galloping into the afterlife as a magnificent unicorn. The site is also bookended by Scout (hairdressers) and Boar and Blade (barbers), hence the emphasis on flowing rainbow locks.
