SEA WALLS TAIRAWHITI - NZ
In October 2019 I was the regional director and curator for Sea Walls - Artists for Oceans activation in Gisborne NZ. 21 artists from around the world came together to paint messages of ocean conservation on the streets of Tairāwhiti.
With the generous support of our dedicated ARTivists, partners, and volunteers, over 20 purpose-driven, ocean environmental public murals were created, highlighting a range of topics relevant to the conservation of our oceans.
In addition to the mural painting, we hosted public film screenings, panel discussions, art exhibitions, and environmental and cultural excursions. At PangeaSeed Foundation, we believe a drop of paint can create an ocean of change and that through global collaboration, we can help save our seas.
